How to convert m4p (drm-protected files) to mp3 via iTunes:
For Windows:1. Click on Edit > Preferences.
2. Click on "Import Settings" half-way down the "General" tab. It is located next to the "When you insert a CD:" dialog text.
3. Select Import Using: "MP3 Encoder."
4. Select your desired quality in "Setting:" (Suggested: "High Quality")
5. Click "OK."
6. Click "OK."
7. Go to your music library and select the desired song/songs you wish to create a drm-free version of.
8. Right click on the selected songs and click in the pop-up context menu "Create MP3 Version."
9. All your selected songs will now be converted to high-quality mp3 drm-free versions.
10. Sinc your new songs to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.
11. Enjoy!
